Recruiter of the Guard is here – Legacy Death and Taxes Gameplay

Conspiracy 2 cards were not added to Magic the Gathering: Online until a few months after their release, and only through the use of the still relatively new Treasure Chest system. This means that cards like Leovold, Emissary of Trest are going to reach astronomically high prices on the secondary market at the peak of their popularity, like when a certain professional player takes down a GP with a four colour monstrosity led by Leovold. On top of this, it meant that the online versions of Legacy Death and Taxes looked nothing like its paper counterpart due to no Recruiter of the Guard and no Sanctum Prelate for a while. Thankfully the wait is over and the deck is now, for the most part, geared up and ready to go. Hopefully at some point further down the line Wizards of the Coast will allow us to play with Palace Jailer online. A boy can dream. #FREETHEJAILER

So this week I bring you some gameplay with my favourite Legacy deck of all time, Monowhite Death and Taxes. We are playing with the new hotness in Recruiter of the Guard and Sanctum Prelate, and we face off against Liliana, the Last Hope. Innovations and sweet new tech all around. Who comes out on top? There is only one way to find out.

If you enjoy enjoy the video, be sure to check out more of my stuff over on the channel, and subscribe in order to never miss a video!

Magic: The Gathering - Fate Reforged released - Opening Booster Packs

Hi, I am Vince. And I am an addict. I just can’t get enough of this shiny cardboard we call Magic. I went to some prereleases last weekend, and managed to win some booster packs; apparently opening 3 on colour mythics and several bomb rares is a good strategy for winning a limited...

I have hair. So do you probably, unless you are bald. Though, I think that still counts as a hairstyle if it was a choice, if not, just grow a beard and you'll look like a wrestler or a Viking.

MTGO Cube Drafting (Gameplay) - Black Lotus is Festive, right?

Every holiday period, Wizards of the Coast run Cube drafts on MTGO. You don't get to keep any of the cards opened like you would in a normal draft but the pay off is huge; you get to play with some of the most broken, degenerate and incredibly powerful cards ever printed. Previously, I talked...

Magic: The Gathering - A Cubed Love Affair

When it comes to Magic, there is nothing quite like cracking open some new packs and building a fresh deck to go toe to toe with your friends (or foes). A format in which you construct your deck there and then from "new" cards is referred to as a 'limited' format. This can be from drafting...
