Stripmine in Modern – Monowhite Death and Taxes

Stripmine in Modern – Monowhite Death and Taxes

At this stage you might not know who I am. But amongst some of the south coast magic scene I have garnered a name for myself. This isn’t just for my rugged good looks, impeccable beard regimen and lewd sense of humour; I am known as that guy who always plays Death and Taxes. I love it. From Legacy, through to Modern. Even in Cube, Tiny Leaders, Duel Commander, and if I can, in Standard too (card selection permitting). White Weenie is my fucking jam. Thus, I want to share my pet deck with you; Modern Death and Taxes. A port of the tier 1 Legacy Deck, Death and Taxes is a meta dependent house of fun within the Modern format. Do you like stopping your opponent from actually having fun, whilst gaining incremental value off of flicker effects? Do you like playing barely playable white cards, that no one actually understands properly, but synergise together really really well? Then Death and Taxes is for you!

Did you like the video? Don’t forget to like and subscribe! Always appreciated! And drop me a comment if you have any feedback on the video or the deck, or want to discuss any aspect of it. I am always up for a discussion around my favourite decks

Magic: The Gathering - A Cubed Love Affair

When it comes to Magic, there is nothing quite like cracking open some new packs and building a fresh deck to go toe to toe with your friends (or foes). A format in which you construct your deck there and then from "new" cards is referred to as a 'limited' format. This can be from drafting...
